Recommendation Hot Spring Tour Spot “Noboribetsu Onsen”

“Noboribetsu Onsen” is in Nboribetsu city one and a half hour driving from Samurai rental car office in Chitose and 2 hours driving from Sapporo city. You can drive with easy access by Douou Highway bound for Hakodate.

Noboribetsu Onsen has long history over 200year in Edo era and is chosen as “Best 100 Hot Springs in Japan” every year by Tour Economy Newspaper Co.
What’s more, it has nine kinds of good ingredient for health.
I could enjoyed the wonderful hot spring, which is becoming very famous recently, and enjoyed driving with Samurai rental car

“Welcome to Noboribetsu Onsen” we was able to see the red ogre when we get off the high way on Noboribetsu Interchange, and then 10 minutes driving we arrived the down of Noboribetsu Onsen.

First, we visited “Jigokudani” known as very popular tour spot.
I recommend you should take a photos of Jigokudani at the entrance of observatory.

You can enjoy mysterious sight scene of Jigokudani sidewalk lighted up until 21:00.
There are much smoke from souse of Hot spring, Too strong sulfur smell !

“TESSEN-IKE”
It is the center of Jigokudani and generates hot water and smoke to a certain extend.
You can see strong boiled water there.
Sometimes, people try to throw coins in there, but you should not do that.

Shopping district on Gokuraku street

There are traditional shopping stores and restaurants.

“Enmadou”, the symbol of shopping district, has amazing face.
You can see peaceful and angry faces.

Keeping down the street, you can reach Bear Park and have nice time with beers and ride on the gondola.

It is 5 minutes walking from Jigokudani. [No parking, you should take a walk]
Buy It is not easy to walk on the path because in the forest.

It is natural hot spring flowed from Oyu pond, you can put your legs in the comfortable thicken hot water.

There were many couples.
